How you can get into Radio Broadcasting

(and become part of the Saddleback Radio team)

Saddleback College students have the opportunity to work at 2 different radio stations! KSBR-FM has been broadcasting to the community on 88.5FM since 1979. Saddleback College has just launched OCRockRadio.com - a brand new Internet radio station created specifically for students entering Saddleback College.

Saddleback College’s Communication Arts program provides students with experience using state-of-the-art digital equipment, including industry-standard programs such as Selector (music scheduling), Scott Studios (digital playback system), Voice Tracker (program time-shifting), Wire-Ready (AP wire capture), and Adobe Audition, ProTools, and Sound Forge (digital audio post production).

The students you hear on Saddleback Radio have completed the two courses required of all our on-air staff:

· CA110 (Audio Production)
· CA113 (Radio Broadcasting)

The next full set of classes begins in January, so make sure you check the Saddleback College schedule on www.Saddleback.edu. For more information, call (949) 582-4714 or email: twedel@saddleback.edu
