Singer-songwriter Jack Johnson returns from his Hawaiian home for his latest studio album, To The Sea. Which will be released on June 1st. "To The Sea" was recorded in just three weeks at Johnson's solar powered studio in the 50th state.

Iron Maiden will release their new album, The Final Frontier, this summer and the Metal legends have announced a summer tour in advance of the record's release. Prog rock greats Dream Theater will open the tour. The trek starts in Dallas on June 9 and wraps up on July 20 in Washington, D.C.

Dave Grohl has revealed the Foo Fighters will start recording a new studio album in September, with producer Butch Vig behind the board. Speaking to Rolling Stone, Grohl said that instead of recording the new songs in the Foos' HQ, they plan to go lo-fi and record in analog in his garage.

My Chemical Romance have parted ways with drummer Bob Bryar. Guitarist Frank Iero wrote on their official website that Bryar left the band four weeks ago and that "This was a painful decision for all of us to make and was not taken lightly".

Stone Temple Pilots will unleash their new, self-titled album via Atlantic Records on May 25. As reported yesterday, the group premiered the album at a private listening party in New York City on Tuesday night.

Sublime fans check this out! With their new singer Rome Ramirez, Eric Wilson and Bub Gaugh simply renamed themselves "Sublime With Rome" and will hit the road for a brief spring tour. "The Dirty Heads", whose new single "Lay Me Down," features Rome, will open all dates.
