- In honor of John Lennon's 70th birthday, EMI will reissue eight of his solo albums, as well as release a new best-of set and a box set called Gimme Some Truth, in October.
Earlier this year, U2 had to postpone their entire planned North American leg of the U2 360 Tour, due to Bono's emergency back surgery. Now the Irish superstars have announced make-up dates, which as expected, won't begin until the spring of 2011.
Bon Jovi's June residency at London's O2 Arena has proved fruitful as The Circle Tour has scored #1 on Billboard's Boxscore chart of concert ticket sales. It is the top-grossing tour for the second time this year on the Boxscore chart.
Linkin Park's Mike Shinoda dropped some major news on his website today when he wrote that the band's new album, A Thousand Suns, will come out on September 14. The album is co-produced by Rick Rubin and Shinoda, who last joined forces to produce 2007's Minutes To Midnight.
Incubus singer Brandon Boyd is releasing a solo album today, dubbed "The Wild Trapeze", that is exclusively available digitally on the iTunes store.
